Procurement, logistics and trading agency for the oil and gas sector.

IBER OIL TRADE ARBITRAGE S.L. works under formal mandate for producers, buyers, sellers and traders across Europe, Ibero-America and international markets — sourcing what the operation needs, coordinating how it moves, and representing the parties who trade it.

Three lines of business, one operating standard.

Each line is contracted separately and can be engaged on its own. What does not change between them is the method: verify first, document everything, and coordinate to completion.

01

Procurement

Sourcing of products, materials and industrial supplies for energy operations — from requirement definition to supplier qualification and purchase coordination.

  • Requirement definition and technical specification
  • Supplier identification and qualification
  • RFQ preparation and offer comparison
  • Purchase order coordination and follow-up
  • Inspection and acceptance documentation

02

Logistics Agency Services

Agency representation across the physical chain: storage, transport, inspection and delivery, with the documentation kept aligned to what was contractually agreed.

  • Storage and terminal coordination
  • Marine, road and multimodal transport arrangement
  • Independent inspection and survey coordination
  • Shipping and delivery documentation control
  • Milestone tracking through to discharge

Trading Agency — Oil & Gas

Representation of buyers or sellers as a mandated agent in transactions involving refined fuels and crude cargoes. We act for a principal — never as one.

  • Mandate representation, buy or sell side
  • Counterparty search and qualification
  • Commercial terms and offer coordination
  • Contract and documentary alignment
  • Settlement facilitation between principals
Scope of operations Europe & the Iberian Peninsula Registered and operating base — Spain, European Union Ibero-America Latin American and Iberian counterparties, in their own language and time zone International markets North America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia by mandate

Refined fuels and crude cargoes.

The products we are most frequently mandated on. Grades, quantities and delivery terms are confirmed per transaction against the contract and the inspection regime that applies.

Gasoil & Fuel Oil

Gasoil, fuel oil and related derivatives for industrial and marine use.

We do not circulate unverified offers, and we do not market cargoes we have not been mandated on. Every enquiry is checked against the counterparty and the supply chain behind it before it moves.

Four stages, in this order, without exception.

The order is the control. A transaction that skips a stage is a transaction whose documentation will not survive review — by a bank, by an insurer, or by the counterparty's own compliance team.

01

Mandate & Scope

Role, product, volume, route and commercial terms agreed in writing before anything moves.

02

Counterparty Verification

Identity, ownership and sanctions screening completed before any commercial commitment.

03

Documentation

Contracts, specifications, inspection and delivery documents aligned and tracked to milestone.

04

Execution & Settlement

Delivery coordinated to completion; payment settled directly between the principals.

Where the market meets, we are in the room.

Counterparties, terminals and service providers are not found in a database. They are met, verified and kept. Attending the industry's working forums is part of the method, not public relations.

Relationships in this business are built face to face and then tested on paper. Being present where producers, terminals and traders meet is what allows us to verify a counterparty before we represent one.

Why the company works the way it does.

Energy transactions are built on trust that has to be earned document by document. Our philosophy is a working method, not a statement of intent.

Mission

To make international fuel transactions executable — connecting qualified counterparties, sourcing what the operation requires, and holding the commercial, documentary and logistical coordination together from mandate to delivery.

Vision

To be the intermediary that European and international operators call when a transaction has to be done properly: verified counterparties, documentation that withstands scrutiny, and no surprises between signature and discharge.

Commitment

We take a limited number of mandates and we decline the ones that do not hold up. A transaction we turn down costs us a fee. A transaction we should have turned down costs our client far more.

Verification first

Nobody is taken at their word. Identity, ownership and capacity are checked before commitment.

Documentary rigour

What is agreed is what is written, and what is written is what is delivered.

Independence

We act for one principal at a time, and we disclose our role in every transaction.

Discretion

Client information stays with the client. Nothing circulates without written authorisation.

A small team, deliberately.

IBER OIL is run by professionals with direct experience in energy trading, procurement and logistics coordination. The company is intentionally compact: the person who takes your enquiry is the person who coordinates your transaction, and the file does not change hands as it moves.

Our teams work from Spain, the United States and Japan. That spread is operational, not decorative — it covers the European, Ibero-American and Asian working day, which is where fuel transactions actually stall when nobody is awake to answer. Business is conducted in Spanish and English throughout.

Commercial Mandate coordination, counterparty search, negotiation support.
Compliance Verification, screening and file review under a designated officer.
Operations Logistics, inspection, documentation and delivery follow-up.

How we are set up, plainly stated.

A Spanish sociedad de responsabilidad limitada with its registered office in Madrid, operating under Spanish commercial regulation and European Union law. Wholly owned by its founder and director — no nominees, no intermediate holdings.

We act as a commercial intermediary. We do not hold, control or transmit client funds, and we are not a financial institution, an exchange or a payment service provider.

Counterparty checks Identity, beneficial ownership and sanctions screening before onboarding, reviewed periodically.
Regulatory framework Spanish Law 10/2010 and Directive (EU) 2015/849 govern how we verify and record.
Records Transaction and verification files retained and available to the parties entitled to them.
Role disclosure Our capacity as agent is stated in writing in every mandate we accept.

Start with the requirement.

Tell us which line you need — procurement, logistics or trading agency — and the product, volume, route, timing and documentation status. We review scope and counterparty before we respond.
